Few career hairdressers have accomplished half of what Barker has in his 30+ years blazing a trail in the industry. He has rubbed shoulders with industry greats like Vidal Sassoon, Bruno Mascolo, Anthony Mascolo, and Robert Lobetta. Through them, Barker gained mastery over the finest techniques and decided to pass on this legendary hair care history and culture.
"I want to bring our heritage of hairdressing front and center, to be able to touch it, feel it, turn it upside down and help build it. It all comes down to wanting to make people look good and feel good."
As a driving force dedicated to raising the industry standard and worldwide presence, he has traveled the globe training hairdressers, art directing shows, and events in Asia, Europe, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East. In 2006 he was nominated North American Texture stylist. As a designer and business owner he has created and brought to life multiple salon locations, and in 2016 was nominated for The North American Salon Design of the year.
Even though he has seen and done it all, he continues to be humbled by his creative passion for working behind the chair in Atlanta, which is home to a vibrant salon scene. Creativity is what motivates him and he loves to keep the inspiration going, developing and moving the art form of hair care forward, helping stylists stay in touch with the ever-changing needs of clients.
When he's not running the best hair salon, teaching classes, or giving the best haircuts in Atlanta, he is busy introducing the exciting new FauxHawk hair care line as a complete fashion lifestyle.

Aaron is a 25+year career hairstylist, educator, and inspiration in the hairdressing industry. In 2007 Aaron won Toni&Guy Hairdresser of the year and gained recognition with the coveted North American Hairdressing Awards in 2008.

He is passionate about the craft and educated with very highest standards in the most renowned methods. As a top stylist, he is highly sought after for his exceptional level of skill and subject Knowledge and when clients sit in his chair they feel his inspiring experience.
As an educator, he has trained and mentored hairdressers around the world. Aaron has done exhibitions everywhere from Europe to Asia. As an educational director, he has helped build multiple salon locations of various sizes, with up to 100+hairdressers. He continues to conduct seminars, virtual education, hair shows, educational model nights, and photo shoots.
He embraces his high-profile life's work and appreciates the value it brings to his current Faux Hawk vision as a stylist, educator, consultant, and creator with one of the best new hair care brands in Atlanta.
